It's a beautiful world

English roses, Brazilian bombshells, ageless Asian babes - the good news is - it's not all down to genetics. We asked three IMEDEEN ambassadors to give us the lowdown on their beauty secrets and how else they're doing more - apart from taking their IMEDEEN tablets!

A smooth, fresh English rose complexion is best achieved by eating a healthy diet, drinking lots of water and getting plenty of sleep - not rocket science but not always easy.

London-based marketing manager, Anne Toker, 31, has a one-year old daughter so knows all about the consequences of sleepless nights: "I use IMEDEEN's Expression Line Control Eye care to help counteract dark circles. Its light reflecting particles give the illusion of smoother skin and it's a great base for make-up - that plus YSL Touche Eclat are my lifesavers.

Best beauty advice
Have your eyebrows shaped professionally. Eyebrows really define the face even without make-up so the right shape is important.

Beauty indulgence
Haircare - my hair's long and needs regular maintenance to keep it sleek and glossy. Deep conditioning treatments and six-weekly trims are a must. John Frieda Color Glaze is good for boosting highlights.

Vice
White chocolate buttons.

Doing more
I've switched to energy saving light bulbs to help cut down on C02 emissions and save money on electricity bills - which helps fund my daily IMEDEEN Time Perfection habit!

Brazilian women are known to be the most body-conscious in the world. Maristela Fieschi, 44, from Sao Paolo is a big fan of dry body brushing to keep cellulite at bay: "It stimulates circulation, improves metabolism and helps detoxify. Start from the soles of the feet and work upwards, use circular movements over the stomach, then do hands, arms, back and shoulders, finish with gentle downward brushstrokes on neck and chest".

Best beauty advice
Eat lots of berries! The Brazilian Amazon Acai berry is world famous as a beauty superfood.

Professional airbrushed tanning for instant glamour - all-year round use of IMEDEEN Tan Optimizer for a natural sun-kissed glow.

Vice
Caipirinhas - our national cocktail. 2 tsp superfine sugar, 1 lime cut into small wedges, 65ml Cachaca. In a glass gently mash lime wedges. Add sugar and mix until dissolved into lime juice. Add ice. Pour Cachaca, stir - enjoy!

Doing more
Smile! It takes fewer muscles to smile than it does to frown. It makes you and everyone around you happier - I think of it as free therapy.

In Asia looking great is a reflection of internal balance and the secret to healthy, beautiful skin truly does begin within.

Singapore-based Maureen Law - an impossibly youthful 50 - swears by the beauty benefits of tea drinking: "white tea is my favourite - it has the same antioxidants as green tea but in larger amounts - and it's a key ingredient in my IMEDEEN Prime Renewal tablets!

Best beauty advice
Stay out of the sun.

Beauty indulgence
Weekly manicures at the IMEDEEN Inside-Out Beautique in Singapore. Hands are always on show and can be a real age-giveaway.

Vice
Eating and shopping - Singaporean national pastimes. Chili crab at Jumbo's Seafood Restaurant, East Coast Parkway, is a particular weakness. Kate Spade handbags are another.

Doing more
Find time to exercise - I've just taken up golf. It's great physical exercise - for every round you walk at least 4 miles and burn around 1,000 calories. It's mentally stimulating (all that shot counting!) and incredibly social - a great way to meet new people.
